For MY first post, I just wanted to introduce y'all to something I really care about, and something many of my posts might reference. Slam poetry has made a really huge impact on how I think about myself, other people, and interactions in general. These are two of my very favorite poems performed by two of my very favorite poets (that I happen to have HUGE crushes on).
I've had the opportunity to see Anis Mojgani perform live at my college a few times, and I have to say it's the closest I've ever gotten to a truly religious experience.
